Singapore migrant workers 'suffering significant stress'

Many migrant workers in Singapore are under significant levels of mental and emotional stress, a university study released on Wednesday will say.

The Singapore Management University questioned more than 600 South Asian migrant workers and found they faced problems including high levels of debt, fears of repatriation and massive agent fees.

Singapore's ministry of manpower said it would respond once the report is officially released.
