US Navy in Japan: On board the USS Chancellorsville

One of the US Navy's most powerful missile cruisers, the USS Chancellorsville, has arrived in Japan.

Significantly, the vessel is not a replacement for another ship, but an addition to US forces there.

It is the first time this cruiser has been based outside the US

The move is part of America's response to China building up its navy, as Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reports,
