Australian PM says bushfires are 'not climate change'

The Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, has said that climate change is not responsible for the bushfires affecting parts of New South Wales.

He told a radio station in Melbourne that the fires were 'part of the Australian experience'.

Firefighters are continuing to battle dozens of wildfires across the country.
