Hundreds dead in 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Pakistan

At least 300 people have died in a powerful earthquake that struck in the remote area of Awaran, south-west Pakistan.

The earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, created a new island off the coast and has flattened entire villages.
