Crowds watch 'gorgeous' solar eclipse in Australia

Scientists and astronomers gathered in Tennant Creek, Australia to watch an annular Solar eclipse on Friday.

The event happens when the moon moves in front of the sun and a thin ring of light can be seen around it.

The next total solar eclipse will be visible from Africa, Southern Europe and Eastern Americas in November 2013.
