N Korea faces 'isolation', says British foreign secretary

North Korea has carried out a third nuclear test in defiance of United Nations warnings.

The move prompted criticism from its sole major ally, China, and condemnation around the world.

Speaking ahead of a UN Security Council meeting to take place later today, Foreign Secretary William Hague said that North Korea could face increased isolation and further international pressure if it continued to defy the UN.
