Business leaders celebrate 65 years of Pakistan independence

Today Pakistan is celebrating 65 years of Independence. It was back in August 1947 that the deal was signed to carve British India into two states, one for Muslims and one for Hindus.

There has been deep distrust between the two nations ever since - the issue of Kashmir remains a major stumbling block to peace, with both countries laying claim to the mountainous region.

But over the past year especially - things have started to thaw. Particularly when it comes to trade.

The BBC's Tulip Mazumdar has been meeting business leaders at celebrations at the Wagh border in Pakistan.
