Ban Ki-moon in landmark visit to Burma to encourage reform

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has been making a key address to parliament in Burma as part of a three-day landmark visit to the country.

He praised Aung San Suu Kyi, her party and others that had joined the political process and participated in recent elections.

On Tuesday he will meet Ms Aung San Suu Kyi, who led her pro-democracy party to win 43 seats in by-elections on 1 April.
