Children badly hit by Philippines flash flood

The death toll from floods in the Philippines could be as high as 2,000 with more than 60,000 people left homeless.

The national disaster agency says it could take up to six months to build temporary housing.

Ariel Balofinos, the area manager for Save the Children on the southern island of Mindanao, told Radio 5 live Up All Night how they were trying to help children affected by the damage.
