Dalai Lama warns of backlash against immolations

Tibet's spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has told the BBC he is worried about a possible backlash in China against monks and nuns protesting about Chinese rule in Tibet.

A growing number of holy men and women are setting themselves on fire to draw attention to the issue, with 11 cases this year, the most recent just two weeks ago.

Andrew North reports from Dharamsala in northern India.

This report includes footage from the Free Tibet campaign.
