Crackdown on people smugglers in Ethiopia

As Europe continues to grapple with the migrant crisis, Ethiopia has intensified a crackdown on smugglers it blames for luring thousands of people who want to seek better lives abroad.

The government says it has arrested more than 200 smugglers and has begun a campaign to warn people about the dangers of making the perilous journey.

The BBC's Emmanuel Igunza visited Metema in the country's north west, a town notorious for being a smugglers haven.
