Athol Fugard's anti-apartheid plays return to London

This year the Young Vic theatre in London is presenting two plays by the legendary South African writer Athol Fugard.

Both works - Sizwe Banzi is Dead and The Island - were first shown in the British capital 40 years ago.

Fugard, now 81 years old, is well known for opposing apartheid through his plays, which were censored and banned in his country.

The BBC's Sophie Ikenye went along to see a performance and later the playwright joined her on our Focus on Africa programme from Stellenbosch, South Africa.
