More UN troops take on al-Shabab threat in Somalia

The United Nations has approved the deployment of 6,000 extra troops to help the fight against al-Shabab and al-Qaeda forces in war-torn Somalia.

Recent months have seen significant victories for the UN-backed African Union soldiers, as their commander in Somalia Fred Mogisha explained to the BBC's Africa Correspondent Andrew Harding.
