British aid official expelled from Chad

A senior British aid official has been expelled from Chad while attempting to visit refugees from Darfur in the east of the country.

Mukesh Kapila was the head of the UN in Sudan when the Darfur conflict began almost ten years ago.

He had planned to visit the refugee camps where 200,000 people still live.

The BBC's David Loyn reports.
