Rwanda faces criticism after the election

Last month's presidential election in Rwanda was conducted peacefully but there are some areas of concern, according to a report by Commonwealth officials.

The report highlighted a need for more critical opposition voices and media freedom.

Paul Kagame took office ten years ago and his re-election was never seriously in doubt but now the government is facing serious accusations from a leaked UN report.
