Think again: Embracing our fear

Fear, it seems, has increasingly become a tool for policy-making. Politicians are constantly telling us to fear something: a terrorist attack, environmental collapse, economic disaster.

Historian Joanna Bourke says this is hurting our society. She says it's time to reclaim the politics of fear, and put the power of fear to work for positive ends.
