UN approves new sustainable development goals

Leaders from around 200 nations have gathered in New York to approve a new set of ambitious goals aimed at tackling poverty, hunger, climate change and other global problems.

The UN's Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, replace the Millennium Development Goals which expired this year.

The BBC's Nick Bryant reports from New York.
