India to host F1 but plans leave locals 'alienated'

As India prepares to host its first Grand Prix later this year, the Formula One authorities are due to inspect the track near Delhi.

The entire landscape around the sports complex is fast changing with a new motorway, luxury housing estates and five-star hotels.

However, land bought by private contractors has encircled several villages near the F1 track with high mud walls and barbed wire, leaving some local people feeling alienated.
