UN launches International Widows' Day

Thursday sees the first UN International Widows' Day. The organisation says an estimated 115 million of the world's 245 million widows face poverty and discrimination, with many deprived of their inheritance, land and even their children.

Laura Trevelyan reports from UN headquarters in New York.
