Faith in Families worried about Communities First funding

The charity Faith in Families is due to make a big move to a new £1m community centre in Swansea next May.

They are just one of many funded by the Communities First programme, which was set up in 2001 by the Welsh Government.

The charity's move into a new building has been overshadowed by the fact they do not know if they their funding will exist next year, according to boss Cherrie Bija.

It comes after Communities Minister Carl Sargeant announced last month he was "minded" to scrap the Communities First programme.

Ben Wright reports.
