Young homeless people have been neglected, charity says

Frances Beecher, chief executive of the charity Llamau, has welcomed a Welsh Government pledge to end youth homelessness within 10 years.

First Minister Carwyn Jones said it was a "personal passion", saying "no civilised society" could tolerate such a thing.

He has announced extra money and effort working with councils, charities and agencies to help the 7,000 under-25s who seek help for homelessness every year.

Ms Beecher told BBC's Sunday Politics Wales programme she was pleased to see Mr Jones showing "leadership".
