Aberfan: Plaid Cymru observes a minute's silence

Members of Plaid Cymru at their conference in Llangollen have observed a minute's silence to remember the Aberfan disaster 50 years ago.

One hundred and forty four people died, most of them children, when a mountain of coal waste collapsed and engulfed the school in the village near Merthyr Tydfil on 21 October 1966.
