Show respect as election looms, AMs warned

Assembly Presiding Officer Dame Rosemary Butler has asked AMs to show respect to each other and to her after a rowdy session of First Minister's Questions on Tuesday.

She asked First Minister Carwyn Jones 11 times to stop talking during that session.

She opened proceedings on Wednesday with a warning to members about conduct that "undermined the assembly's business".

Dame Rosemary said she knew there was an election "looming", but there was still "important and considerable work to do".
