Covid: Broken TV adds to carers 'isolation and despair'

"As ridiculous as it sounds, when the TV broke it was like something else being taken away."

For Sue and John Burley, living remotely and in isolation on Anglesey, the TV was not just something to keep them entertained but provided contact with the outside world.

So when it broke, they felt more isolated than ever before.

It comes as charities found carers were at breaking point without their wider support network during Covid.
