Better health 'must reach those at the bottom' in Wales

The new chief medical officer for Wales says those at the bottom must benefit from improvements in health.

The rates of baby deaths aged under one year are almost 50% higher in the poorest parts.

He called it an "unacceptable difference".

Dr Atherton, visiting a breakfast club in Adamsdown, Cardiff, said those at the bottom needed to benefit.
