Cliff diving returns to old quarry in Abereiddy

Pembrokeshire will welcome the return of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series on Saturday.

A 27m (88ft) platform has been fitted to the rock face at the old quarry in Abereiddy overlooking the Blue Lagoon.

The 5,000 tickets for the event sold out within an hour.

Abereiddy is the sixth stop of the series, and all eyes will once again be on the reigning champion Gary Hunt.

He will be representing Great Britain along with Blake Aldridge and wildcard Mat Cowen.
