Bangor supplies sent to Lebanon to help Syrian refugees

A lorry-load of supplies from north Wales has been sent to Lebanon to help Syrian refugees living in the country.

Bangor-based Pobl i Bobl collected donations including pushchairs and clothes for children, sewing machines and materials to help people find work.

Organiser Catrin Wager said the group was set up in 2015 by people inspired to help after seeing the now-famous image of a young Syrian refugee lying face down on the beach in Turkey last year.
