Tata Steel: 'Clear assurances' needed for Port Talbot site

A possible merger deal between Tata Steel and ThyssenKrupp has led to more uncertainty for the Port Talbot plant, the area's MP has warned.

Stephen Kinnock said there needed to be urgent assurances from the two companies and the UK government.

His comments came during a Commons debate on Wednesday.

He said the vote to leave the EU also complicated the situation.
