Flatiron cemetery commemoration to Mametz Wood soldiers

A service has been held in Flatiron Copse cemetery to pay homage to Welsh soldiers who died in the World War One battle at nearby Mametz Wood in northern France 100 years ago.

More than 100 people from Wales attended the commemoration at the cemetery, which contains the graves of around 80 Welsh soldiers.

A Welsh flag and a poppy specially made in Wales was placed on each of their graves.
