St David Award winner: Mold machete attack 'horror' scene

An ex-soldier who stopped a dentist being beheaded in a racially-motivated attack in a Flintshire Tesco said the scene was "like something out of a horror movie".

Peter Fuller received a St David Award for bravery on Thursday after he stopped an attack by neo-Nazi Zack Davies, 26, on dentist Dr Sarandev Bhambra in Mold in January 2015.

Davies was jailed for life and Mr Fuller received the bravery award at the annual ceremony in Cardiff Bay.

He said: "I could either stand up and save a life or let someone die horribly in front of me."
