BBC School Report: Escaping war decades apart

Two people driven from their homes by war but decades apart have spoken about starting new lives thousands of miles from where they grew up.

Ninety-year-old Harry Bibring fled Austria aged 13 during the World War Two Holocaust, while 12-year-old Alena moved to Cardiff three years ago to escape fighting in Syria.

They spoke to young reporters at Porth County Community School.

You can see stories by other young people from around the UK on the BBC News School Report website: bbc.co.uk/schoolreport.
