NHS Wales chief Dr Andrew Goodall report on 'lessons'

NHS Wales must continue to "learn from its mistakes", says its chief executive in his first annual quality report.

Dr Andrew Goodall said the NHS was "working hard" to improve after a review criticised the care of elderly patients at two hospitals. He has said more hospital spot checks will be carried out.

Dr Goodall told BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke his report did not just concentrate on examples of good work.
