Heavy rain across Wales to last until Friday

Up to 100mm (4in) of rain is likely to fall on parts of Wales by Friday and could cause localised flooding.

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) said the heaviest rain is expected across mid, north and west Wales.

Following downpours overnight on Tuesday, some places could see about 50mm (2in) of rain on Wednesday.

Higher ground is likely to be worst affected and NRW is asking people to be alert for possible flooding.
