Movie magic of Wales to be preserved in cinema museum

A museum dedicated to the golden age of cinema in Wales is to open next year in an effort to preserve the past of the moving image.

Featuring memorabilia from old picture houses from the 1920s and 1930s, the museum will include everything from projectors to popcorn trays.

It will be opened by Peter Brooke, an expert on celluloid and cinema of the past.

Mr Brooke as been building his collection for 45 years and said he is determined to keep the cinematic heritage of Wales alive and well.
