Referee recalls Caerphilly Cohort Study's ice bucket test
A 79-year-old American football referee took part in a study investigating how lifestyle choices impact illness because he wanted to find out more about his own health.
The Caerphilly Cohort Study tracked the lifestyle habits of middle aged men living in the county from 1979 to the present day, looking at the influence of environmental factors on diseases such as dementia and cancer.
Ray Grace, who agreed to take part after seeing an advert in a local newspaper, told BBC Wales' health correspondent Owain Clarke about some of the tests the men took part in.
