Thalidomide victim Brian Davies's compensation bid

A Thalidomide victim from Gwynedd is part of a group who have launched legal action against the drug's manufacturer and distributor.

Brian Davies, 53, who has deformed feet, is one of eight people seeking compensation, having been refused under a 1970s plan because his arms were not affected.

The anti-morning sickness drug caused babies to be born with limb defects and damaged eyes, ears and internal organs.
