Differences set aside for Nato visit, says Carwyn Jones

Political differences between the Welsh and UK governments will be put aside in the build up to the Nato summit in Newport in September, First Minister Carwyn Jones says.

He was speaking after senior managers from the Celtic Manor resort, where the summit is being held, criticised the level of preparation being carried out in Wales.

Mr Jones said work was going on behind the scenes to ensure the most was made from the high profile visit of 60 world leaders and 4,000 delegates in all.

He spoke to BBC Wales political editor Nick Servini during a visit to HMS Dragon which is moored in Cardiff Bay to receive the Freedom of the City this weekend.
