Royal Mint designs 'unique' property to beat fake coins

The Royal Mint has designed a fraud prevention system that could change how the world uses its currency.

Fake coins cost the global money markets billions each year.

But after years of research, technology developed at the site in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff, could make fake coins a thing of the past.
