Denbigh bomb trial: Former mayor Larsen gets 18 years in jail

The former mayor of Denbigh has been jailed for 18-years after a jury found him guilty of setting off explosives in the north Wales town.

John Larsen, 46, was convicted of arson attacks on three cars, causing an explosion and possessing explosives with intent to endanger life.

He was sentenced following a two-and-a-half week trial at Caernarfon Crown Court.
