Firefighters in Wales in four-hour strike over pensions
Striking firefighters in Cardiff have staged a walk-out to a round of applause and the sound of drivers tooting their horns.
Unions oppose plans to make firefighers work until the age of 60 but Welsh ministers say public sector pensions must be 'sustainable'.
The four-hour strike on Wednesday started at noon and ended at 16:00 BST.
When crews from Cardiff Central Fire Station on Adam Street left the premises onlookers clapped in support.
Fire service chiefs say they had crews in place to tackle 999 callouts during the strike, with non-union members and military personnel among those providing cover.
