Greenpeace Arctic ship protest: Russia holds Newport man

A man from Newport is one of 30 Greenpeace activists detained by Russian officials who seized their ship in the Arctic.

Anthony Perrett and his fellow campaigners have been accused of piracy for trying to board an oil platform and face prosecution.

His partner Zahara Ally told Nelli Bird of BBC Radio Wales she had spoken to him via a British consulate telephone and that he was in good spirits.
