RNLI rescuers help fishermen as boat sinks off Gwynedd

Two fishermen have been rescued after their boat sank off the Gwynedd coast after hitting rocks.

RNLI lifeboat crews from Aberdovey and Barmouth were launched after the Nikki Lou's crew reported the collision to the harbourmaster at Aberdovey.

By the time the lifeboats arrived the damaged boat had sunk and the men were in the water.

The local father and son were taken to the RNLI lifeboat station for a check-up and later went home.

RNLI footage shows the moment the father and son were rescued.
