Prince Charles takes over a Dalek during Doctor Who tour

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have come face-to-face with Doctor Who's most famous foe, the Daleks.

The royal couple were visiting BBC Wales' Roath Lock studios in Cardiff on day three of their annual summer tour of Wales.

They met the two main stars of the series, Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, who gave them a tour of the Tardis.

Prince Charles then got a chance to take over one of the infamous Daleks, before telling the crowd "you are our prisoners".
