Grogg creator John Hughes: Gareth Edwards pays tribute

John Hughes, the ceramic artist who created the Groggs caricature figurines, has died after a long illness.

Mr Hughes turned a garden shed venture in Pontypridd into a thriving business whose handmade sculpted figures were sold around the world.

Among the first and best-selling Groggs was one of Welsh rugby great Gareth Edwards, one of the elite 1970s team. He spoke to Peter Johnson on Good Evening Wales.
