Inquiry as man drowns in Flintshire park pool

A 43-year-old man has drowned in a pool at a park in Flintshire.

Emergency services were called to the Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, Holywell, at 17:20 BST on Saturday.

North Wales Police say the body was recovered later on Saturday evening from a pool at the 70 acre (28 ha) site by an underwater search unit.

The park is owned by Flintshire council and managed by the Greenfield Valley Trust Ltd, and chairman Gordon Limb offered the trust's "deepest sympathy" to the man's family.
