Wallander director Kjell-Ake Andersson's snapshot of 1970s Bargoed

In 1973 an aspiring photographer from Sweden turned up in the Rhymney valley to capture its mining community on camera.

He went on to became an award-winning TV and film producer in his own country.

The photographer was Kjell-Ake Andersson.

He has returned to open a new exhibition of his work.
