Safer vaccines technique could tackle diseases

British scientists have developed a ground-breaking technique for creating safer vaccines which could be used to tackle diseases that threaten both human and animal health.

Researchers in Oxford have already manufactured a synthetic vaccine against the livestock disease foot and mouth.
