Boxing Day sales: 'Record' shoppers for Cardiff's St David's 2
Shoppers in Cardiff have been out in force determined to bag the best Boxing Day bargains.
Some retailers have slashed their prices by as much as 50%.
St David's 2 shopping centre said it expected 150,000 visitors on top of what, it said, had already been a record-breaking few days.
Mark Nott, from the centre, said the Christmas period had been "superb".
Chris Parry, retail expert from Cardiff Metropolitan University, said the Boxing Day sales used to be "fun" but have become increasingly more important over the last decade.
Nick Palit reports.
