Charge more, ex-editor Neil Fowler urges Western Mail

Neil Fowler, a former editor of the Western Mail, says it needs to be brave and consider charging more for its content.

The National Union of Journalists says the national newspaper of Wales may be turned into a weekly - which is denied by the company - but Mr Fowler believes owners are monitoring similar action elsewhere.

This is an extract from his interview with Vaughan Roderick for BBC Radio Wales' Sunday Supplement programme, and the fuller version can be heard on Sunday, 20 November (08:00 - 09:00 GMT).
