Soldier's body brought back home

The body of a Scottish soldier killed during a rocket-propelled grenade attack in Afghanistan has been brought back to Britain.

L/Cpl Joseph Pool, 26, who was from Dumfries but had moved with his family to Greenock, was killed on 5 September.

The Royal Scots Borderer died during an operation to disrupt insurgents in northern Nad Ali.

His body was flown into RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire and his coffin was then be driven through Wootton Bassett.
